Junie- bugs-

You're 10 Months old! Again - we had to put the sticker on your head. You're too smart and the sticker won't last a second on your shirt without you tearing it off.

Highlights from the month -
Good-bye bottles -
A few ago we got rid of the bottles. We starting offering 1 at school, then 2 at school during the week. Then one weekend, I just switched cold turkey. You didn't seem to notice or if you did, you weren't mad about it. Milk comes out of the sippy cup faster; so the biggest learning curve was just pacing yourself.

Grandma & Grandpa alone time-
Grandma & Grandpa came up to watch you while we took the big kids to Chicago. Ya'll seem to have a fun time and only got mad at Grandma when she almost attempted to take you to Target. You guys loved playing with the mailbox on your play garden.

Cruising, Standing Alone, and almost walking -
You are a crazy fast crawler. Yesterday when Maevy and I were picking you up from school, we joked that we should enter you in a baby race - because of how fast you took off crawling towards us when we arrived. This morning we saw you walking crazy fast with one of those walking toys. We don't have one at home - instead we just watch you cruise from furniture to furniture. You continue to have no fear. On more than one occasion, I've had to stop you from climbing completely out of the bath tub. If not stopped, you'll climb up onto the edge of the baby bath tub and attempt to climb onto the tiny ledge of the regular bath tub.

Schedule -
I'm starting to get into toddler house mode - where they have more strict schedule. So we've been offering your milk at normal eating time, rather than spread them out throughout the day.

630/7a - Wake up
8a - Breakfast + 6oz sippy cup
9:30/10a - Nap
11a - Lunch + 6oz sippy cup
1p - Nap
3p - Snack + 6oz sippy cup
530/6p - Dinner + 6oz sippy cup
630p - Bedtime

At this point, we're basically treating you like a toddler. You definitely have the same appetite and gross motor skills to eat anything and everything we give you.
Foods you love-
Veggies  - Spinach! - I cannot give you enough spinach or broccoli. You'll eat anything we give you.
Proteins - you especially love sausage, chicken, ham, salmon and steak
Dairy - you love all cheeses, don't love yogurt
Fruit - like your siblings - strawberries are your favorite
The only thing I have to trick you to eat is a hard boiled egg, also bread. You couldn't care less about bread.

Maevy's new favorite thing to do with you - towel ride!

Grandma thinks you look kind of like her at the same age. :) I kind of see the resemblance.

Love you Junie - can't wait to see you walking!

- Mommy
