11 Month Birthday!

You're 11 months old! I love this picture of you - mid-stride - 

I have no idea how big you are, but you're mostly wearing all of Maevy's 18mo dresses. Good thing I've kept them around for 8 years!

Highlights from the month -

Walking/Standing/Seated to Standing position -
A week later and you are easily taking 8-10 steps on your own. You venture easily from 1 piece of furniture to the next. And just yesterday I saw you get from a seated position to standing on your own. Nice!



- We started the month with a trip to Memphis for Jackson's baptism.
- You saw Mommy finish her first race since having you.
- Spent lots of time at the baseball field watching Daddy and Carter..and playing/eating lots of grass and dirt.
- You slept through most of Carter's crazy birthday party.
- We had spring photo shoot - but it was bedtime. I'm hoping for a decent picture of you standing, walking or smiling. We're counting it as your 1 year photo shoot. :)
- We ended the month with a quick trip for Justin's wedding. You had a sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa..and we celebrated/played with cousin Elena for his 1st birthday!
- You love a good round of peek-a-book or where did Mommy/Daddy/Maevy/Carter go? - hence all the picture above with a pillow in them. :)

Schedule/Food -
No change in the schedule, but we are consistently giving you 1/2 formula or breastmilk + 1/2 lactose free milk. No food update - you'll eat just about anything and lots of it. You start yelling at us when you're hungry. I officially stopped pumping the week of so after we got back from Chicago. We've been using up all the frozen breast milk.

Speech/Signs-
You've got Bye-Bye down. I think you're finally getting "more". You make some funny - juh and ts sounds. Still lots of ma-ma-ma. When we say our prayer before dinner - you usually clasp your hands or clap, which is super cute. You still have this totally guttural laugh.

Working on -

Walking - 1st Steps

June-

You've been super close lately, but last week you made some actual progress in the walking department.

Maevy and I had fun with you during Carter's Tee Ball game last Saturday - we kept saying Bugs to Bigs when you would walk from me to big sister- Maevy. :)

1st Easter

Buggie -

Happy 1st Easter! We survived having you in mass with us. You, of course, made some friends with those around us. :)

Your Easter basket contained a book, and some of your favorite snacks - teddy grahams and cheese its. :)

You had a great time with your cousins over the weekend, especially going face-first down Grandpa's slide. Your new nickname is "no-fear June". Plus I can't count the number of times you've take a tumble that most babies would immediately start crying. You seem to brush it off and move on.
