You're 5 months old and it's Halloween today - I got you this cute bug-hat that somehow seems kind of small, despite being size 3 to 6 months. Also - it's totally not seasonally appropriate because it's going to close to 90 today! When will it be fall?

Food Update - things you've tried this month -

Veggie stock - in a sippy cup
You seem to be loving it all and mastered the art of gumming it. You also usually lunge forward towards the spoon with the food on it. We also started offering you veggie stock at dinner in a sippy cup. You are starting to get the hang of it.
Schedule/Sleep Update-
It's still pretty much the same, but over the course of last week we phased out all middle of the night feedings. It really only took a couple days and you basically just sleep-whined if/when you did wake up. You typically still wake up at 4ish and we'll feed you then, but that counts as your morning session. I kind of like 4am and then you sleep in till after 6a. Rather than feeding you at 5ish and you being awake for the day.
4am - Nurse
8am - Cat nap (15-30 min)
9ish - Breakfast + 6oz bottle
10:30ish - Long nap (60-90 min)
12:30ish - Lunch + 6oz bottle
2ish - Nap (45 min)
3ish - 6oz bottle
430 - Cat nap
6p - Dinner + 6oz bottle
6:30p Bathtime/bedtime
Other 5 month notes-
- Mommy left you for the first time for 2 days/2 nights. You, of course, did great with Daddy. He took you a beer fall festival, the library magic show, a Halloween party, and church!
- You took 2 trips to Memphis this month..and were great with Grandma/Grandpa and in the car.
- Spitting up is getting a little better....but I still bring a change of clothes for both of us whenever we go out.
- You are loving your excersaucer and I've officially thrown away the floor mat thing.
- We're working on sitting by yourself, which you can do for a couple seconds.
- You're still great at flipping all around and scooting yourself around by pushing off with your feet!
- Still no teeth, but something is constantly in your mouth.
